Has any team ever been stagnant for longer than the current Clippers?

2010, Blake Griffin emerges as a budding superstar, a nightly highlight reel player who re-energized Clipper fans, and created new Clipper fans drawing in sellout crowds. But Baron Davis was past his prime, and so they go after Chris Paul.

So 2011, in comes CP3... ever since 2011 they've been the exact same team EVERY YEAR. Vinny wasn't getting the job done apparently, so they bring on Doc. Same results. They lose the exact same way every year for 6 straight years.

You can watch the 4th quarter of any Clippers playoff loss the last 5-6 years and it's like a repeat

Never seen any team in any sports "on the cusp" longer than them and at the same time it seems like they never really had a chance.

that's been the clippers story every year since existence.. no matter who they get, what they say they gonna do, where they are projected, where they end up seated in the playoffs.. they never go anywhere

Bum ass franchise, the league should contract it or at least have it relocated away from L.A. :scusthov:

Like how do you even get excited as a Clippers fan, this is the best team they ever had and can't even get past the 2nd round :snoop:

Is this question fukking serious?

How about the stagnancy of the Clippers BEFORE this current version of them?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!

The way people talk about the Clippers and how they need to blow it up and this and that, you'd think they were the Lakers or something, like this hasn't been BY FAR the GOAT run for this franchise.

There's no GM in place. Doc is the coach, GM, and head of basketball operations. He inherited Blake, CP3, and DJ and has literally put nothing around them for the past 5 years since he's been here. Doesn't take the draft seriously, won't develop players outside of Junior, can't make a decent trade to save his life, gave away first round picks like candy, no scouting the D League or overseas, etc. Even the year we choked against Houston- beyond the starters that team was barron. Everybody had to play 40 minutes.

-its starts at the top, Doc and Steve Ballmer
