Has any team ever been stagnant for longer than the current Clippers?

The Grizzlies made it once because they got to play a Thunder team that had just lost Westbrook :what: They got swept once they faced a real team.

They have never been a legit championship contender and theyve been in this spot longer than the Clippers.

Clippers would've gotten to play injured Thunder team if they would've beaten Grizzlies in previous round.

And when did Doc play? During the era in which a team like this would have had a chance to contend.
ok but doesnt that reaffirm his status of a shytty GM ? if you cant adjust as a GM or a coach its not a good look.

I forgot who it was but someone on here wrote about how Memphis has been the perfect prototypical 1990-2004 team for the last 6 years and all they have to show for it is being swept in the WCF and being up 2-1 on the dubs before they lost 3 in a row

The Grizzlies are cool with that though. Teams with shytty histories appreciate not being shytty even if it means the ring forever eludes them. Not every team can have that Yankee "if you didn't win a ring you failed" mentality.

Here you go with the Grizz hate again :mjlol:

They've been in the same spot for all of one year longer, and if they've never been contenders the Clippers certainly haven't either.

So you saying the Clips weren't a real team when Memphis beat them in 2013 then? Or the 61 win Spurs in 2011? That Thunder squad was still pretty good without Westbrook as they beat the Rockets without him.

Also three of the four games in the WCF were close with two going to OT. It was a more competitive sweep than the Clippers in 2012 at least. Both the Clips and Grizz have beat the Spurs too so they're even there

Injuries are part of the game, at least we took advantage of our opportunity to get to the WCF. The Clips on the other hand :umad:

Yeah, that was my point. He, like most former players, is stuck in his era and that shyt just won't cut it today. I'm against GM/coach anyway because that is just too much for one person IMO.

Both the Clips and the Grizzlies are archaic as hell offensively, at least Memphis has no qualms with their style.

It was their chance when they blew that lead to the Rockets. That is the only year I thought they might win it all. They haven't been the same since.
