Has anyone else lost interest in sports?

I'ma put it like this....

When I tried to follow Baseball, MLB didn't want my money.

When I tried to follow MMA, I might as well watch professional wrestling.

When I tried to watch Soccer, I ended up just settling for Pro Evolution Soccer.

The problem with sports is that higher ups want to nickel and dime the living shyt out of sports fans. Factor in the godawful streaming blackouts, regional nonsense, players acting like feet in the air on the telephone THOTS, and shyt. Why should I even try to watch sports, when all of these factors make it hard to enjoy sports.

This is why I don't bother to pay for these apps anymore, they never carry any local teams, games always blacked out. Then they wonder why people resort to illegal streams. ESPN for example blocks NYCFC, Mets, Jets, Giants, Yanks, Rangers, Knicks, etc. why the fukk would I sign up for that???

I don’t know if it’s just me but I’ve completely stopped watching sports this year due to lack of interest. shyt seems very boring to me which is weird because I was obsessed with football and basketball last year Anyone else relate?

I did. I follow tennis though.

have more interest in regular season basketball this year than any year in the last decade. There's a least 10 teams that could be contenders for a chip. Don't really care about the NFL to be honest

This is why I don't bother to pay for these apps anymore, they never carry any local teams, games always blacked out. Then they wonder why people resort to illegal streams. ESPN for example blocks NYCFC, Mets, Jets, Giants, Yanks, Rangers, Knicks, etc. why the fukk would I sign up for that???

Hell, even when I tried to get into the Minor Leagues, the website and app is so friggin awful. Like these companies are so tone deaf to the reality that the world is changing, but they continue to think that's its the 80s.

It sucks because Baseball got my mind off of the hell I was enduring when I was in the shelter. Yet, it was a double edge sword.

For every moment I see the Phillies and Blue Jays restoring the feeling, there's a bunch of blackouts, technical issues, random streaming services popping out of the ass with "exclusive" games. Like breh...I just want to watch a damn Baseball game

Majority of the time, I had to listen to the games like this is the fukking Brooklyn Dodgers years. I'm waiting to groove to some ragtime with this bullshyt.

Reminds me of when the Phillies were sucking ass during the Summer and they had to get rid of the coach, then magically they are in the postseason .

Blue jays were in the play offs
Raptors got a nice core
Arsenal in first place

Yet I’m like meh
Also due to past gambling issues, it ain’tas fun anymore lol

Politics and economics has shown that celebrity and sports have no value and bigger things are at play
