I’ve been growing my hair since August 2017. What are some long hair styles for men(besides braids and locs) where I won’t look like a bytch?
No idea, breh. My man keep a low Caesar and my brother rocks a baldie. :francis:

What's your style and where you be at? You a corporate breh? Artistic? Give me an idea of who you are, I might be able to come up with something.

Thinking about doing this, I’ve been locking since October and it hasn’t really locked :scust:

I still got compliments on it, but I’m tired of getting it done :ehh:

I got in an argument about this with my patna the other day. How is that possible when all locs do is GROW like any other hair?! :mindblown: the ends loc, the root is new hair, how are you gonna bald prematurely? :gucci: I think men dealing with that were gonna go bald regardless and locs are the scapegoat :hhh:
Tight retwists. Often retwist.

If you retwist 6+ times a year right each time. You’ll get traction alopecia.

You can retwist often if you only retwist by hand so that it’s not tight. But them tight retwists with the braids to the back?

Notice rastas barely retwist. Hairlines usually solid. People that stay with fresh retwists and styles be on recline.

You can't punk , dreads will bring on premature balding

I know this dude did. Took him multiple days tho. Seems like an easy way to get traction alopecia.

Dreads dont cause baldness. Twisting them too tightly on a regular basis can cause traction alopecia. But there is nothing inherently dangerous about dreads alone.

I barely retwist

Have taken out a few of my locs that were full of lint and I trim the ends recently because I keep sitting on my hair.

Took out my sons locs twice and started again because he had too much lint in them

I’m artistic but I work in the public sector.
