The same way you start a business I suppose. Find someone with similar beliefs then go on from there.

money comes first, now in theory you can get people to volunteer but in reality you have to pay people to put out papers, if its just a benevolent exercise then the org will spiral away

but its a good idea tho, my main concern about a black think tank or hip hop think tank is that you will just have a regurgitation of leftist ideology, not original black thoughts

for a real think tank which means you have permanent full time scholars, you would have to pay them a real salary around 100000, so if you have 5 scholars, thats 500,000 a year, plus support staff, office space, admininstration etc, that would be a million a year

but you can also have a think tank that just publishes a journal or magazine a few times a year and just break off the writers a few G's per article, then maybe you can get away with 50-100000

then of course there is also the fronting ass think tank where you buy a domain name, a wordpress template, register as a non profit, get some volunteers from prestigious places like thecoli.com or your boyz from college to write stuff and voila you can have a think tank for a couple of G's---> im talking smack but that is not actually a bad idea, there is nothing wrong with fronting when you begin

He doesn't call it a think tank but he basically does what I described as the fronting think tank, the writers on this site get paid

But it's a whole TLR type beef going on in youtube right now over some black man vs black female type stuff and this dude is in the middle of it.
