My life is a solitude period

I look at my phone like a leash. It's always getting lost or broken because on a subconscious level I don't really like to be accessible. I lose a lot of friends and alienate family and it's not something I necessarily do on purpose but I'm very sensitive to people's energy and tend to affect people strongly with mine so I keep it low key til I feel my presence is needed.

Cracked my iPhone screen the other day something serious and couldn’t give a damn. That’s how I knew shyt was working.

Also make sure to take some time in between to really assess if you're really giving it your all and not half assing it.

This is perfect. I can see myself continuing this lifestyle well into May and chilling for the summer but if the results are worth it but ironically if the results are worth it I just might continue for an indefinite period of time.

Yo, if you haven’t done so really try cutting social media usage down a notch. Haven’t been on FB, IG, or Twitter in almost four months and the impact on my mental has been much better.

Eventually you realize that you’re either watching other people live their fantasies or you’re wasting time watching other people wasting time. Either way you have more productive things that could be done.

Ironically the less time you spend on social media the MORE time you spend making your life one that can be dope on social media. Instead of looking at everyone else’s moves, make your own waves, and then broadcast them to the world with them months later if you absolutely can’t pull away from social media. I can admit we all have a stunt bone in us, so play time is paramount to the grind like others in this thread have stated.

Mostly use my phone to surf Coli, BX, and Reddit now. Technically those are social media but I can say I learn worthwhile content every time I visit them as opposed to watching girls put up videos showing off their bodies.

Yes I have. Spent the time focusing on my mental/emotional/physical/professional goals. Best thing I ever did but I wish a bad situation didn't have to happen in order for me to decide it was necessary.

I’m still coming to terms that the fact my own bad situation was probably a blessing in disguise regarding my personal development.

Breh it is a blessing in disguise. Bad situations force us to look at ourselves and really assess who/what we are. Good job on using the situation to fuel personal development. I read mad personal development books during my timeout from everyone.

This is what I do every winter. I hate cold. HATE it. So I’m inside the majority of the winter. Only leave to go to school/Work/gym/special occasion.

I spend my time thinking of what I want for myself, and what i want to gain(or lose) during the year. I do a lot of research on topics that interest me. Look up new things to try. And really just focus on me and what I want to do.

When the weather warms up, I’m back and I’m better:blessed:
