I hear you and my bad about Face that was my bad but he was already 20 years in the game by then just got a bunch of money to be named Def Jam South president why would he live in the hood on some dumb C-Murder shyt? Face actually use to come and hoop with us at Cloverland park around 98-99. He aint have a a whole crew of nikkas around and was a cool cat and spoke every time I saw him. Not trying to brag but just saying with my own eyes I would see him in Southpark, Cloverland, Sunnyside, and the Tre. He wasn't as far removed from the hood as some might think he just didnt lay his head down there.1) Flip wasn’t a hood dude, but he was in the same neighborhood with most of them. I know this cause I was a hop skip and jump from him and used to regular see him, Hump, C-Note, and D-Red. That’s why when Scarface pulled that “he ain’t from the hood stuff”, that always seemed funny to me cause Scarface was saying this while he was barricaded in a River Oaks mansion at the time. Flip never even moved out the hood til way after he was poppin. Think he in Sugarland or something like that now.
2) I don’t think not signing to Def Jam South was shytting on Face at all, Face was the one the pretended like he had some big news about a “new rapper from the South” signing to Def Jam South, and tried to play funny about it. Flip did skate on some dudes, but he sure was still doing a bunch of songs with various Houston artists. There were dudes that hated on him off the rip cause of Screw’s co-sign and how he was starting to move up.
I don't remember the details but on Donnie Houston podcast with flip, he mentioned his home Jason was the rapper and made the introduction to screw happen.screw
trae bounced around alot from the nawf to the south...south to the nawf
he was around screw alot even lived with em for a minute
trae knows how flip came in contact with screw...some of the footaction crew brought em around ..flip potna who died jason was around screw...
redd trae n killa kyleon were the youngest nikkas always at screw house..
screw fell off big time after he had his the last major stroke that had em slurred n lookin paralyzed
hawk trae..lo$ where the only ones there helpin out with him...helpin his pops out n nicki...
trae been around the lick for a long time... pat die...he helped the family out..hawk die.. he helped meesha with both boys... like hawk pat kids dont have to worry bout shyt for the rest of their lives..long as trae is livin..
trae the one nikka who was reliable when it comes to certain shyt..
its a lot of shyt behind flip..trae never just fukk with... u cant find 5 songs with trae n flip on it together
TLC my guy lol?1. Texas never fell off
2. Lil Flip killed himself by not continuing to put out good music
3. T.I has Tiny's TLC money to put on your neck at that time
4. It's not anyone elses fight in Texas or Atlanta to stick up for another man
5. T.I simply applied pressure and none was applied back, Flip should have diverted and stayed in his lane, he could have made T.I look like a clown by ignoring him.
I hear you and I know Face at the time saying that seemed kind of off but Face already was successful by then. He was already 20 years in the game by then just got a bunch of money to be named Def Jam president why would he live in the hood on some dumb C-Murder shyt? Face actually use to come and hoop with us at Cloverland park around 98-99. He aint have a a whole crew of nikkas around and was a cool cat and spoke every time I saw him. I do admit I made a mistake saying Flip shyt on Face that was my bad. Flip chose not to sign and maybe Face was being Face at the time and felt a way about him not signing but real talk a lot of people were questioning what hood Flip was from . Cloverland and Hillwood are right next to one another and people would say he was more from Hillwood than Cloverland but whatever. He connected with some nikkas who had ties in the street like the Botany Boyz and if you ask me I think that's how he got connected to Screw.
Back in 92-94 you could pay Screw $20 and he would make you your own personal tape. Just give him a tracklist and he'd have it for you in a week. Me and my partners at school (Sterling) use to argue over the tracklisting and what should be there. LOL. I think this is how Flip got put on as well and his connection with Botany Boyz who were definitely from Cloverland but thats just me b/c you can't get a clear cut story from him. I won't even speak no further on the DJ Screw plaque thing. That was fukked up and wrong on Flip's end and I'll just leave it at that.
TLC my guy lol?
Aww ok I forgot she wrote for them, I thought you were trying to say she was in TLC I was like wrong group my guyhow do you think T.I started? Tiny wrote TLC's biggest hits on a diamond selling album
she literally just wrote Ed Sheerans hit song from 2 years ago. T.I didnt just feature on 2pac's album as a rookie rapper based off clout
that's exactly why I had to chime in on this post, people are saying all types of crazy non sensical shyt ... Someone said "texas fell off because of Lil Flip"that take is fukking nuts ... maybe you didnt know, and its not personal against you .... but writing the biggest hit on a diamond selling album that was also remixed which you get royalties and writers credit on, is fukking nuts. 10 million not including the remix numbers all in your pocket, not even mentioning the other songs she wrote on that album. Then take in to account the other hit songs she's been on or wrote since the mid to early 90s. TLC had the biggest sales year in one of the most important times in music history (1999) You'd have to be blind or not alive to not know that.

T.I. was on Better Dayz first and that was post-I'm Serious and pre-Trap MuzikAww ok I forgot she wrote for them, I thought you were trying to say she was in TLC I was like wrong group my guy. TI was the hottest rapper in the game when he was on Pac's album that was in 06 breh
Bruh stop just making chit up to defend TiThe origins of most beefs in Hip Hop is LSA, gossip material. Nobody really sits their and analyzes whether beefs are legit. The disses and the responses are what has always mattered. Pastor Troy admittedly saying he was dissing No Limit because he was a hater never stopped anybody from bumping "No More Play In GA". Who really cared?
I hope you not trying to say Ti started off tiny “tic” moneyhow do you think T.I started? Tiny wrote TLC's biggest hits on a diamond selling album

What people from out of town don't know is that during Flip's come up he disrespected a lot of street nikkas from all over Houston. Saying he was the freestyle king, the whole Screw giving him a plaque issue didnt sit well with a lot of people and how he framed it for his benefit. Also Flip wasn't from the streets like most nikkas in the SUC, he was a schoolboy that went to Worthing and made good grades. He just happened to get an underground hit with I Can Do That getting a lot of spins on the local radio play. For him to pop up and claim he was king of anything was just clown shyt and it didnt buy him any friends in Houston. Yall expecting all Houston rappers to to come to his rescue with the T.I. situation is laughable. He burned so many bridges in Houston before that I don't blame any of em for siding with T.I. He shyt on ESG, tried to beef with Slim Thug, talked shyt about Face, and shyt on SUC members. Nah fukk Flip. He a disrespectful privelaged spoil nikka. He wanted to act like a street nikka and got what he deserved.
