Has anyone gotten to the point where sports media is getting unwatchable?

Yep. First show to come to mind after reading the OP. While I’ll admittedly keep watching—creature of habit—Undisputed was peak fukkery/cast a wider net in its earlier years.
I also miss them having guest analysts (Steven Jackson, Rob Parker, Broussard, etc.).

I only watch The Pivot. It's refreshing to see current and former athletes chop it up with people that get that life and don't have a 'narrative' to push

We never needed these traditional shows for an opinion on the sports seasons.

Honestly if it’s no nba trade talk free agency or nfl draft talk/free agency/playoff talk I don’t really tune in anymore. I’d rather watch content on YouTube/Reddit/here/social media where I can see stuff on the teams I care about.

Honestly the best takes are found on YouTube channels. There are folks that study teams in and out so there takes are educated. Compared that to the folks on the that are required to know just enough about every team in every damn sport just to be able to defend whatever opinion they have .

Sports media has been unwatchable for at least a decade. I don't know how you guys do it. Even local stuff has gotten unwatchable.

Facts. I don't know exactly when this formula started... but its taken over everything. Its seeped its way into sports fandom as well because its broadcast everywhere and its just a shyt show.

Watching people yell at each other about Lebron or The Cowboys got old years ago. People don’t watch the alternative either so they don’t know what to present really. Trolling and yelling seems to be the thing to do now

For years it's been Dallas, Brady, Lebron, and a handful of players from the NBA and NFL. I'm starting to question why have I subjected myself to listen to the same shyt for years from outlets that don't even try to provide a good product.

Never was hype on ESPN. The local newscast was enough for me. I did however used to listen to Sportsradio like crazy. Philly Sportsradio was largely racist though...610 WIP barnone was horrible. I switched to 97.5 which was marginally better. I used to fukk with Mike Missenelli heavy, because he spent 75/25 sports other shyt. But I've gotten away from all sports media except Undisputed with Shannon and Skip. If I want highlights, I hit youtube. If I want some analysis I watch Shannon and Skip. If I want a deep dive, I'll watch documentaries. I got tired of ESPN's fake made up ass stats; first person ever to make blah blah, when they had the flu, coming off the bench, with 3 minutes left in regulation...
