I had my first one at 23 years old. When I went to the emergency room and got an x-ray I could hear the x-ray technician yell out "holy shyt". It was the size of a nickel. It got stuck on my kidney and was the most pain I ever felt. There are many types of kidney stones. I get oxalate stones, so I avoid certain foods (mostly green veggies which sucks). They wrapped me in this huge water filled blanket thing which pulverizes the stone from the outside of your body by shaking it violently. I had a second one 10 years later but it was much smaller. They were gonna go through the urethra with a tube and just break it down. Luckily I passed it before my procedure day. I been drinking a gallon of water daily for the past 22 years.
