I fukk with both, fetty definitely got hits but does he have a fan base.

I feel like thug probably has a more cult following. A solid fanbase will keep you doing shows for along time and eating for awhile without a hot single buzzing. But then again that money from top 10 singles should keep you eating for awhile

I think fetty is dope and got talent. But I don't know nikkas who actively check for that nikka. Even up here it don't even seem like nikkas checking for his music like that. But I think that nikka got singles for days cause his hooks game is crazy I heard like 7

Barter 6 is my shyt tho

Young thug is what we call a temporary sensation.

He's ok. Flow is crazy. No real content tho.

He was bound to get the bushes treatment as soon as someone people cared about came along.

Fetty on the other hand is also temporary unless he can keep these hits coming. I still can't see myself buying a cd full of my ways

I dunno...do people actually listen to Fetty Wap like that? The singles, obviously yeah are huge...but Thug's lane is more so that constant subversive mixtape thing that Gucci kinda perfected and cats like Future have flourished in....fetty wap best I can tell is like some Flo-Rida type shyt where he has huge hits but people aren't just banging his material like that...could be completely wrong though, don't know much about fetty but his hits
That Flo Rida lane is more lucrative than the mixtape lane. Also it garners you more global popularity along with White America/Housemom popularity. If Mr.Wap is headed down that Flo Rida lane, than he already won. He already beat Thugger, IF that's where Mr.Wap is headed.

No disagreement here on that part...as far as monetizing their popularity, fetty wap is likely already well ahead...i've always been of the opinion that young thug was too weird to really pop off like that in the mainstream...I just don't see him and fetty wap in the same lane, so what one does doesn't really affect the other...Future's resurgence has more of a difference on thug's "spot" than whatever fetty wap does

Judging from his interview Fetty seems like a humble dude , I don't really support what son stand for but I can't hate on a young man getting dough :manny: , Just hope his record label ain't jerk him for his publishing ,only time will tell when the smoke clears :sas1:
