I've been in and out of the house throughout this whole "lockdown/quarantine" thing.

I honestly don't really consider this a true lockdown since we still have access to going outside, walking, driving, food shopping, etc...ppl still hanging out obviously not in bunches.

Y'all really sitting in the house non-stop without even stepping outdoors or driving somewhere at least ?

People really out here acting like this is a lockdown on some 28 Weeks Later shyt...

Like someone in this thread said it feels like a sci fi flick. We seen movies and shows that show people interacting completely online or with AI but never really see how it got to that point. This is the 1st step as people will have ptsd about crowded places now.

The governor just said schools will be back open april 15 but the parents working from home not about to send their kids to be beta virus testers they gonna give that shyt another 2 weeks if they can

Charlotte has said schools aren’t opening up until May 15. I’ma need this to be over by June. My son is supposed to be with his dad this summer and June is my birthday month.

Honestly I don't think capitalism is as much as a problem as consumerism. Captislism is supposed to work on the basis of whatever market dictating whatever trends are supposed to be followed with businesses naturally phasing out and in based off how we'll they capitalize on it
Consumerism is essentially "everybody buy buy buy, if you can't afford it, go into debt and buy buy buy"
The former is supposed to work in a cycle
The latter works on an ever increasing line that never ends
People would have more money practicing capitalism cause it's sink or swim but the powers that be led us to consumerism so that the American public would funnel so much money to them they'd make themselves dollar slaves, wherein then they use that money amongst themselves under socialism.

We’re living in weird times. Yesterday my son had a doctors appointment and they wouldn’t let anyone in the office without taking temperatures first. We had to stand in a line and wait for them to take our temperatures at a doctors office....


At the store yesterday twos brehs hollered at me with face masks on....the sight of it alone was weird asf. store shelves still empty.

Restaurants and the mall closed... schools closed... Movie theaters closed... yes I see families walking around pretending like this shyt isn’t weird but this is some strange shyt

Its not even strange at this point, we've seen so many movies throughout our lives that we shouldn't even be surprised.
