i'm saying that using your logic about it being a growth company and that being a reason not to bet against it is flawed because by that logic...earlier this year when it at its high...or any company's for that matter it wouldve been a bad idea to bet against it.

as we can see...its gone down greatly due to missing expectations.

that's what i'm saying...the market is overestimating how much itll grow...and as a result will probably underestimate how early itll plateau. thats always a good way to make money . see Lululemon for example. Its not just a question of whether its still bought

and my number one rule when checking stocks is to keep my ear to the street and looking around . Nothing wrong with getting an opinion on how the brand is seen because the psychological aspect of consumer behavior is extremely important. And i know you know all this ?

i meant that being that it was a growth company, it makes sense that it deccelerates, the dip in revenue and stock price is not outside of the norm...it doesn't mean it's missing it's market, but i'm not going to go on some tirade about what's happening with it since i have not researched the company. i think most people know the brand will level out. i gave my (non-research based) view on why i don't think it should be shorted as well as my thoughts on where it sits with consumers...that's all i can do
