They would've lost anyway. Sons apologists act like they didn't have a chance to push it to 7 with Amare and Diaw back in game 6. They lost 4-2. The better team won.
You don't know that. That's why that ring will have an asterisk next to it like the other rings the Spurs won.

That's one ring. Even without the 02 ring we have 4 legit rings since 2000 compared to the Spurs 0. :manny:

well....

2000 - Refs cheated blazers in 4th quarter of game 7 with awful foul calls resulting in a loss

2001 - Legit

2009 - KG get's hurt or boston repeats, Jaqueer Nelson also hurt

201- Perkins get's hurt in game 6 or else boston 3 peats.

*shrugs*

Suns missed a golden opportunity, though.

They won game 4 in SA and tied the series up at 2-2

If they could've gone into game 5, at home, with a full squad, I think they could've got SA that year.Hell, they almost beat them without Amare and Diaw...the equivalent of two starters.

That game 5 was maybe the most important game of the D'antoni/Nash era Suns up to that point. They'd finally gained leverage on the Spurs in a playoff series, but wasn't able to capitalize on it because of some iffy suspensions.

They win that game 5 and all the pressure would've been on SA who would've had to win the last 2 games of the series in order to advance...with the 7th and deciding game being in Phoenix.

The timing of them suspensions was the worst in NBA history IMO.Suns got fukked over on a bullshyt technicality

Not to mention Duncan was hurt in 2000 and McGrady was out and Yao got hurt in 2009 and they still barely won 4-3.

Keep in mind I don't think any of this is legit excuses except 2002 vs.the Kings (fukk what anybody saying otherwise thinks, that shyt was fixed). But it just shows how easily greatestlaker's bullshyt logic can be thrown back at him.

You would have a much stronger case if they managed to win game 6 with their full roster and pushed it to 7. The Suns were never up in the series. They were down 0-1 and 2-1. The Spurs never had their back against the wall in that series.

It's a pretty big stretch to say a team that never led the series at any point and lost 4-2 and couldn't even stretch it to 7 would've won if key players didn't miss one game. It's strange to me that any unbiased Suns fan would say that.

Plus nobody made Diaw and Amare get off the bench. They know the rules. People get fouled hard all the time and their teammates don't leave the bench. The Pacers didn't come off the bench when Wade Ray Lewis tackled Darren Collison. They showed poor judgment.

They maybe wouldn't have even came off if Nash didn't flop like he did. He got fouled hard, but it wasn't enough to make him damn near do a front tuck and slam into the scorers table like Ric Flair selling a selling a Dusty Rhodes elbow.

The Suns were down 2-1 going into game 4....they won game 4 and tied the series at 2-2 heading back to Phoenix for game 5.

Until Nash got crashed into the boards at the end of game 4.The game was over and Horry was letting off some steam from taking the L.

I didn't say Spurs had their backs against the wall, just that the Suns were in the position to gain leverage on the Spurs for the first time in the Nash era.

It was tied at 2-2 and Phoenix held home court for game 5, but they lost with a undermanned squad.SA wrapped it up in SA in game 6

I'm just saying, the Suns win game 5, and they're guaranteed a game 7 in Phoenix. That game 5 was the most important game during the Steve Nash era IMO.Just bad timing on the suspensions

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
lol, when Horry shoulder blocked that faggit nash it was almost like he was a Laker again if only for a moment. My sons hate was never as strong as it was then, the fact that those a$$holes are "contributing members" of GOAT franchise makes me sick to my stomach. :beli:

Rruthfully that's why the Lakers will suck until they leave. I feel sorry for y'all.:sadcam:
