Has the Alexa Bliss "charm" worn out?

after last night and WWE basically running their bad news Allen burys superstar Billy graham mode of operandi tonight.

instead of giving Mickie a wardrobe makeover and an angle that reinvigorates her draw as a valuable submission to the card.

instead we got an awful hokey ending to raw matchwise and an complete exposal of bliss's lack thereof as a performer as well.

"Shoved down our throats" is the dumbest and most misused phrase in wrestling next to buried. Everyone getting a push is being "shoved down your throat". That's how it works. It's called a PUSH for fukk's sake.

Alexa is better on the mic than any woman on the RAW roster sans Mickie James, and that's only been recently. Bayley sucks. Sasha hasn't had a good promo in forever. Alicia Fox? Nia Jax? Asuka hasn't done anything of note yet. Emma actually seemed like there could have been something there. Who else? Dana Brooke?

Bliss's ring work is passable. This might break a few hearts but no one watching the WWE is expecting any wrestling clinics coming from these women. They're all sloppy, prone to botches and not as fluid as the men. They are graded on a curve by default. The slate of female women wrestlers from the Trish/Lita era were more capable than this crop. The reason you all are so enamored is that you're finally seeing women of color take prominence and the Diva's era was so terrible that this "revolution" is going to look legendary in comparison.

Bliss is over, can talk on the mic, looks good and can be carried to a passable match. She can play the limited character they give her. That's all that's needed. Oddly enough, she was surrounded by more overall talent on SD with better characters, mic workers, wrestlers and writing and she still held her own. If anything she's been dragged down to the level of RAW women's division, which has always sucked.

There are builds that are organic and there are builds that make logical booking sense. Alexa's push is not one of them. A heel going over on the mic and then winning clean time and time again has never worked in the history of professional wrestling. Even if you want to argue the nWo the fact is it wore thin and by the time Sting and later Goldberg got over on them WWE was already winning the war. It'd be one thing if Alexa was a monster heel, at least it would be effective in a visual sense. But she's 5 feet tall and not at all physical imposing.

This is not true though. The only time Alexa has had a passable match is with Sasha. Mickie tried... Becky on Smackdown couldn't get anything out of Alexa. They were the worst matches of Becky's career.

You are pretending there are no other options when it's clear that at least 3 of the 4 horsewomen are far more talented than Alexa and there's others like Naomi who are as well and who garner just as much of a live crowd reaction if not more..

Sometimes I agree with your stance on these things but not this time. Sasha and Naomi have crossover appeal. Alexa's appeal contained within the wrestling bubble. She has not shown that she can break through the wrestling bubble whereas other women are being invited to award shows, nominated for kids awards, being invited to appear on talk shows and radio stations, modeling opportunities, clothing opportunities, sneaker opportunities.... Sasha herself has nearly 3 million IG followers, Alexa isn't close.

Roman received "neckbeard" backlash for two reasons. The first was because he wasn't Daniel Bryan and the second was because they altered his Shield character. I think Vince and creative screwed up but I also think the fans were somewhat unreasonable. The Daniel Bryan shyt is unreasonable. WWE thought he was done, physically. The way they altered Roman's character sucked but they had a couple chances to recover from that. I give Triple H credit because he was putting a lot of effort in getting Roman over as a sympathetic babyface and it was working. But they didn't ride it out. They always back themselves in a corner with Roman. Eventually they reached a point where they said "we are making Roman the guy and if you don't like it, fukk you" and again that was the wrong approach. You can't put a guy who doesn't have the built in credibility and longevity over The Undertaker as an FU and think that's going to make things better. Nobody cared. Then Braun gets white hot and they still decide to ride it out towards Brock and Roman. It just doesn't add up.

There was a time when Roman and the Shield along with the Wyatts were all ridiculously over and it was organic. Creative ruined 5 out of the 6 men in that program. Only Rollins is as over as he originally was. They made Roman goofy and unbeatable. They made Dean and goofball. They made Wyatt a loser. They did nothing with Harper or Rowan.

So it's the fans fault for being unreasonable but it's also creative's fault for bricking an easy layup.

No expects wrestling clinics except when Becky /Sasha had a near 5 star match, Becky got a standing ovation and has been untouchable with fans ever since.

Except Sasha waa the heel everyone cheered for in 2015 and 2016 after two near 5 star matches with Bayley as she debuted to the Raw roster.

To be fair, everybody charm ends sooner of later when WWE has you doing the same shyt over and over again.
She was fresh air when the Raw roster needed it. And now after being put in the formulated WWE programming.
It's just like oh Alexa is going to basically talk like she did last time to promote her match at so and so ppv instead of putting her in a new and interesting segment for the night.

They really need to shuffle the women's rosters. Trading Charlotte & Alexa wasn't good enough. Becky/Naomi need to switch places with Bayley/Nia or something
