That was largely due to the arabization of black people though. Arabs swooped into africa in the 6th century and alot of black people joined their ranks and assisted in the conquest and enslavement of cacs into the 7th century AD. All while arabs were systematically killing and pushing black people into southern egypt and below the saharah. The moors traded black slaves just like the arabs. Prior to that black people had been fighting cacs off, winning and losing wars to their armies that were trying totake over northern africa but couldnt penetrate further into africa for reasons of geography.

Oh yeah I understand and agree with all of this, but what I'm trying to get at is A: identifying that status quo and B: working against it. We, I believe are naturally drawn to things that provide quality of life and human development whether it be religion music sports or entertainment.
