This shyt is so dumb. Would it be fair to say that most black people are criminals? No. I would say a small minority of white people are racist, it's just that since there are 225 million total in this country, that small minority is relatively vast.

Maybe you right and that statement cannot be confirmed true or false... But I talk from personal experience. I'm from NY, one of the most liberal and multicultured places in the world, not only the US. And most of the white people I've met here hold some kind of prejudice against black people. I'm not talkin about openly blatant racism, but they do see us as different from them. If this happens in NY, I dont even wanna know how it is in the rest of country... and if you truly wanna believe racism doesn't still exist at a major scale, then you're clearly not black.

We've created our own culture within this nation because of our different history from theirs, so of course we're different. So when you wanna neglect these differences you're neglecting the problem that black people face in America. If you read my last paragraph you'd see I'm still optimistic about the future and actually feel happy and proud about being american, b/c even with all these different cultures (not only black and white) livin' in the same country, we still view ourselves as one nation.

Most people do not go into those nuances because most people aren't friends and base their feelings on Heuristics....an intuitive judgment.

And based on those Heuristics....YES.....A study just showed MOST whites look at us unfavorably.

Are you fukking kidding me? Look no further than Barack Hussein Obama who was dubbed the Anti-Christ before he even took office. Look at all the millions upon millions of whites who go well out of their way to PROVE that blacks are inferior through pseudo-scientific theories like HBD.

One of the most dangerous myths many black people believe is that whites want us to succeed and it's our "behavior" that brought about all the hate and not our existence in and of itself. I mean is that why they burned prosperous black townships, initially forbid blacks from reading and educating themselves and implemented Jim Crow? You think that crack manifested itself in the inner cities from thin air? Anytime you bring up the academic success of African immigrants in America and the UK, you get an overwhelming amount of "skepticism" and whites flat out accusing the US census bureau of lying.

White people, as Todd2012 pointed out, base a lot of their self worth on the belief that they're better than blacks. The thought of a black guy outdoing them is an unthinkable and terrifying to a lot of them. They WANT us at the bottom to feel better about themselves. You can never EVER transcend blackness and become "equal" to a white man in America. Your race will always be a point of contention and your success is often seen as threatening and "wrong". Just ask all the Harvard grads (including Obama) whose success "just had to have been" due to Affirmative Action or some other quota system. Look what they did to Fred Hampton and Martin Luther King (and spare me any notions that "things have changed").
