Houston was the worst team in the playoffs.

Because they played against probably the best team in the playoffs (aside from the Spurs) and actually won one game


And Detroit wasn't the worst team in the playoffs


Let me put this in perspective... Rockets made the playoffs and were 32 games back from the Warriors.

Detroit made the playoffs and were only 13 games back from Cleveland who was fueling with the Toronto Raptors for the top seed... The fukking RAPTORS.

Rockets were a victim of their conference like a lot of other teams. Also the fact that they imploded internally but still got into the playoffs. Rockets are definitely a top 5 team in the East... Maybe more

LOL @ the Rockets being a top five team in the East. The West was terrible this year. Put it into perspective - the Western teams allowed for one team to break the wins record, and for another team to win 67 as well. Y'all are stuck in the past. The bottom four teams in the West playoffs would not have made the Eastern playoffs.

It seems to me that over the last 15-20 years or so the league the league has slowly shifted towards the euro style with more focus on perimeter shooting and bugs that can spread the floor instead of posting up. Everybody knows the NBA is trying to become an international business and I think this is to boost appeal the appeal globally. After the dream team made so much money and garnered so much attention around the world, it's the natural course of a business born in a capitalist/imperialist system to expand globally

Outside of the stars there's a lack of fundemebtal skills other than the catch and shoot. All other skills are becoming obsolete.

The game has changed for sure. It's more drive and kick out then it ever was before. It used to be a time that you got your 3 point shots off of the big man getting doubled in the post and kicking out. Now it's the guard getting the pick and taking the shot or driving to the rack and kicking out to the open man. Don't know if its better or worse but it is different that's for sure.

Man I was gonna make a thread about this. None of these younger guys have any moves. It's drive or come off screens and catch and shoot. The days of watching cats go to work with moves to score is on the down trend.

We have the 2nd best defense in the league technically but we don't match up very well with Cleveland because we don't have as many good 1 on 1 defenders as GS and SA do

Blame the zone . That really stiffles individual brilliance inside the arc. If you can't shoot/dont have shooters you got nothing coming into today's league.

West wasn't terrible how it's just their top teams were incredible. Unlike the east where Cleveland is struggling to get top seed against fukking Toronto. It wasn't because it was competitive it was because they suck in comparison. West had better teams while the only powerhouse in the east really is the store-bought Cavs... Barely.

Now this nikka Lebron about to coast to another finals because he's in the Leastern conference with a group of allstars only to receive all the credit if they win but none of the blame if they lose
