GTRS still sold out everywhere, went up like 30 percent in value and One of the fastest cars on the streets right now is a 7 second GTR, the Nissan GTR brand hasnt missed a beat

I don’t think They lost swagger. I think they were harder to get to begin with and have a niche audience.

I know someone that had one recently. Not for me but they are cool. I’d take a corvette over gtr If it came down to it

Not really, for a car thats like 14 years old (and has countless other versions) it will perform incredibly well. Sure, the new corvette can probably beat it...but its beating a 14 year old car (and not very cleanly either).

GTR never has swagger. The problem is that's its too boy racer. I wouldn't turn one down but I never cared for it. You spend all that money and the car don't even look exotic.

For $80k- $200k I'm going Corvette or Porsche.

The new C8 shyts on the GTR

the fact that the C8 doesnt have AWD from the factory means it already lost.

the corvette was, is and always will be a budget sports car.

the GTR is superior to it from the factory and has more potential/versatility. thats why it costs more.

Yes

- Car is way too long in the tooth
- Dated interior
- Exterior refresh is badly needed and Nissan better study the 911 to see how to recycle the same shyt but keep it look fresh all the time.
- That price is bloated for what you get
- 911 and AMG GT look better and offer more
- A pricer and upmarket Infiniti version should’ve been happened
- Tuner scene always as this car looking like shyt like it’s 2Fast 2Furious but you see clean ones here and there
- Core audience keep this car relevant
- Curious to see how many “clean” examples exist in a 10 or so years
- Like Honda and the OG NSX it “feels” like Nissan doesn’t know what to do next with the GT R

The base C8 doesnt need AWD and gets the same 0-60 and 1/4mi as the Nismo. Its literally a push between a Stingray and a GTR. The Z06 is the superior performer at this point. The GTR platform is just too old now. Cheaper, standard model cars (C8) with less horsepower are outperforming the track variant of the GTR. Thats a clear sign its outdated. This is coming from a GTR fan. Mostly R34, but still a fan. Its long overdue for a remodel and thats why they are releasing this last special NISMO edition.
