You've confirmed what I've said, you aren't genuinely looking for a real musical discussion. I'll humor you though. Where are you from? What's classic to folks where you live? Everything I've name has had a huge impact in Memphis and other people from Memphis would say the same
little rock.

i grew up listening to everything. crunk juice by lil jon & the eastside boys one of my favorite albums ever. i got the shyt for christmas in 04 with the dvd with music videos and shyt :banderas:

trap ages horribly.

it doesnt age well like 3 6 mafia shyt did. chapters 1 & 2 > any of this trap shyt thats been released the past decade.

no one is bumping/talking about migos YRN mixtape in 2016.

Ugk has some. They sound archaic compared to modern trap music though. But they set the foundation.

Some new stuff imo

Carter 2 ain't a trap album...

That shyt has soul samples and snap type beats. How can an album with songs like Hustler Muzik and The Mobb be trap? Teflon Don has trap songs but isn't a trap album.

There ins't a full blown trap album form start to finish. :childplease:

Even Trap Muzik and TM101 had songs that were rhythmic, soulful, and melodic.

just to play devils advocate with you

how do you grade those two differently? Both have been out about the same time and have had the same impact so wouldn't it boil down to preference? Someone else could use the same line of reasoning and argue March Madness won't be remembered the same six years from now.
