I'll take common sense and a great personality over book smarts anyday. Best relationship I ever had was with a chick who wasn't convientally smart (still got her degree) but was clever as shyt and just a joy to be around for the most part. I'll argue about the state of the world, music and all that with my homies. I don't need that from my girl.

good thread, dont know how i miss this. With me it isnt so much the intelligence aspect but at times the dislike/like , that would be define as compatibility, in retrospect some of the females i've messed with despite the physical attraction, are under the impression that im "better" because i dont conform to the things that they do. I've gotten the words "prudish" "arrogant" "self-absorbed" because i it. Simply isnt the case .......Soy Como Soy, though. Recently, a female friend told me she like the fact, I have morals/morale........which seem to be rare in my case.

Yes! But, I feel men are more insecure than women in regards to this. If I don't turn my 'intelligence' down a notch, the man always (well majority of the time) tries to compete with me.

Described my last relationship to a T:scusthov: Sometimes I felt like I was dating a 14 year old in a 24 year old's body.

I dunno if she was just stupid or not, but English wasn't her first language.

Its both it seems, i mean nothing wrong with a person who isnt a sapiosexual but i've notice some women mentally have the "holdup" mindset. Some see it as a way of conforming (imo anyway), Gotten to the point i tried not to even make a comment around certain women, because i don't want them thinking "oh, he think hes better because __________". I've always been an individual that looks at a situation 3 different ways before comment so at times certain statement female make garner a long-winded complex response.

I've gotten "What Do You Mean?" "I dont think, like you think" , Ironically none of the things i speak on are that vast or that abstract, its just certain response from these women who i've dealt with triggers a certain reaction (consciously or subconsciously)..........

I have to reel myself in. I have priorities right now. One girl said I was serious all the time.

But I actually just found her unworthy. She was fun at first but got old quickly. Her favorite word was 'wuhtless' which is probably how she felt about herself. I could see right through her and she knew she could never get what she wanted from me because instead of trying to improve herself, she continued to have an attitude.

Her flaws continued to flare until she eventually self destructed out of my life.

Your woman is like an escape from the world in a lot of ways.

I'm serious about my priorities. If I'm not having fun. Is cause it's not worth it at the moment. I'll have more fun when I accomplish my goals. She was just impatient.

Plus she had a negative attitude. Its kind of like the drama masks. She's demanding fun but inside she crying. I'm out here with my ice grill on cause I'm trying to get my smile going. The table turns, and she loses. :yeshrug:

I was thinking about a situation recently and i think one of my biggest hangups with dealing with that particular type of female, is im too lenient at times. but chicks are quick to say im a flirt, after dealing with that nonsense.
