Nah, its not that simple I've notice you being reluctant to be real critical of Drake and kinda be defensive of him in some threads ..call it ducktales but I seen this one coming...

Ill let you cook though

But ill still be waiting for that "I gotta get at Drake" thread

nikka... I've dissed Drake a number of times on the Coli. I've called this dude a fraud so many times. That's a diss.

But honestly... why the fukk would I get at Drake? He's the biggest rapper in the fukking game :mjlol: He's dominating rap to the point where it's not even fair anymore.

And the fact of the matter is that Drake, at times, makes better music than 99% of dudes in his generation. The other cats I got at are too easy. Their stuff is obvious garbage.

With Drake it's more complicated. He's really tapped into what the new generation wants. And you can tell he has the best management team in the game. Some of those guys are hip hop heads. So they'll do little things like drop a track for the heads once in a while to keep Drake credible.

I might do a "gotta get at Drake" thread down the line when he makes a serious error. Let's see how Views From 6 turns out.

Listen to a nikka that calls himself Mr bytch.

No. You're jumping to conclusions I never made.

We covered this already in the thread. peep below:

You have no receipts for 0-100, but I'm well aware of the 10 Bands reference track. Still irrelevant. Bring up Quentin Miller when you're talking about a pop rapper like Drake is fukking irrelevant. Why can't y'all realize this?

The end product of 10 Bands & 0-100 is better than the end product of anything Kendrick/J Cole have put out. Discussing whether the engineer or writer was phony is irrelevant.

Again, you're jumping to conclusions I never made.

When did I do this? this seems to be the default "don't talk negative about someone I love" response that i see online from time to time.

Yeah, aint' this you??

Oh there are receipts but you don't want to believe it.

Fine, you like a pop rapper.

Why does everyone else have to love him too?

Bottom line is drake will never have a classic because as a pop rap artist he caters to too many demographics,

Can't listen to something front to back when you have to skip all the ladies tracks or vice versa,

Thematically it's like making a porno movie for straight guys but still having a lil gay shyt in it for the fruity dudes, :gag:

I prefer artists who make music for one audience only.

Oh shyt! You got QM receipts for 0-100? Post them up. You don't need to ramble. Just a simple post works.

Drake will never get mentioned with Nas, Pac, Big, etc. Why would you even bring that up? :what:

It's a fukking commercial, b

You going to believe it?

breh, either you have the receipts or not. If the receipts are there obviously I'm going to agree with you.

let's not waste time on this back and forth. You got receipts? post them

Quentin Miller wrote those songs dude.

0-100 = Quentin Miller

10 Bands = Quentin Miller

Are you even listening to the lyrics?

Real shyt... how can you listen to both of those songs and not tell that they were penned by the same person? Its obvious they are both written by Quentin and it makes it easy to see how the mixtape came about. .... after seeing how much love 0-100 got Drake got QM to write him more songs with that harder edge to it which is how we got if you reading this.... mixtape.

So I guess I'm just confused about what exactly are you giving Drake props for in this thread... is it Drake performance of these songs? the production? What was it that made those songs so great to you?

The production + Drake's vocal performance + Drake's rhymes

These songs aren't 'great'. "Represent" is great. "Bass" is great. I've heard way better hip hop songs than 0-100 and 10 Bands in my lifetime. I'm just saying these 2 Drake tracks are better than any Kendrick/J Cole song.

The production/performance/rhymes put together on 0-100/10 Bands > Kendrick + J Cole's production/performance/rhymes put together (e.g. Money Trees or Wet Dreamz).

If you think drake is the best (not counting fame)rapper out right now, it's obvious you've only been exposed to trash rappers. Also if you think j.coles and kendricks albums were trash, you must be one of those nikkas who ignore everything except the beat and only listen to the hook. Drake is a well accomplished rapper, but he's never made anything compelling or an album that wasn't just a bunch of singles.
