Lies. I use to listen to their calls for quality purposes because they were performing so badly from an effectiveness standpoint. The majority don't listen or ask fact finding questions. Also they didn't take ownership very well and frequently transferred calls the the wrong departments. Of all 400 of the employees I was listening to only one had a 100 call in my opinion for customer service and quality. It's beyond them working overseas, they were working for a contractor who also didn't understand the job. Oddly enough the people I was listening to training and giving advice on took my job.

Your right I work in customer service and people can't believe you aren't in India lol when you answer.

Hate that shyt too. My company outsources its IT help desk to India and I basically have to troubleshoot the issue myself every time.

But a lot of companies are starting to flip those jobs to the Philippians because it's harder to detect the accent and the service is a bit better.

i dont like how its spreading to other random areas. In noticed over the last few weeks that pizza joints are now using indian call centers to place orders. Just had a papa johns rep with the most indian accent ever tell me his name is Lee and that he lives in the midwest.



Pizza hut on that same mess too. Sht is so unnecessary.
