This made me remember. My mother used to boil, then pan fry hers. I always though it was crazy, but hers were good. A Black person, or just a chef with a clue, could make some fire out of that. This is some bullshyt though.
this is a style in the midwest but you can't just boil and leave em in the water.
I went to DR last year and the resort had this secluded section with a small bar and food. They barely got foot traffic so they'd boil the burgers to save time. Ran the fukk away.

that's how you're sopossed to do it. Boiling on it's own is crazy, but you boil and sear the outside they come out juicy. its a midwest thing as far as i know
