Have LeBron's peers recognized him as the best yet?

Just my theory. :yeshrug:

Its just interesting cause if I just watched ESPN, you'd think LeBron was the second coming of Jordan. However, his peers don't reciprocate the sentiments. Its an interesting quandary.

Whats so interesting about it? You expect rivals of the Heat like Rondo, KG, Noah, etc. to come out and ride LeBron's nuts?

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Steve Nash, Los Angeles Lakers (via ESPN):

“It’s scary. No one’s quite played the game the way he’s playing it, as consistently as he’s played it. I think Jordan had some years of that, when he was rebounding and passing as well as scoring efficiently. But [LeBron] has taken it to a pretty rare area in the history of our game.”

He's seen ya mans Bean in practice and played against him in the playoffs, and says he hasn't seen anything like LeBron :troll:

Kobe's rivals were ridin his nuts. You had Dirk come out a few weeks ago sayin Kobe's the best he ever played against. LeBron was ridin Kobe's nuts from 05-09.

Its not unprecedented.

During the 90s, almost all of MJ's peers recognized him as the best. In the mid-to-late 00s, Kobe was similarly recognized by his peers as the best. You couldn't go a day without a quote from opponents giving Kobe props as the best in the league. Ya'll don't need me to upload the youtube videos.

If you listen to the media, then LeBron is far and away the best player right now. However, I haven't heard similar sentiments his peers. There aren't quotes everyday from opponents giving him props as the BEST.

Why do ya'll think Bron's peers don't respect him as much as the media?

Al Horford after last nights game....

KEVIN DING ‏@KevinDing
Atlanta's Al Horford on @kobebryant: "There's a reason why he's the best player in the game."

This is what I'm talking about. You never see shyt like this with LeBron after he kills an opponent. Even with having slowed down from his prime, opposing players are still calling him the best after he kills them. LeBron has been dominating the Hawks for years yet I've never heard they players give him props like this. Just an interesting thought to ponder.

As great as a player bron is dude just isnt respected by his peers. You can have SPN try their best to spread the bron hype but when it comes down to real NBA players ho actually play they game he isnt respected in same breath as Kobe and Duncan were throughout there careers.
