had an incident happen friday with them going back and forth........IN FRONT MY DOOR



she is 31 (we call her Chubby)....he is 34, me and dude have had words in the past, he really hoeish talk that gangsta shyt not hard at all. What i dont get is how you can leave a person for two sometimes three weeks, like to me that enough time to somewhat find somebody else and somewhat appreciative of your love. like a real dude, ive spoken with BOTH of them, they got kids man (4-----one boy who is like 11 and 3 girls ) think of how those kids are dissected that and interpreting that shyt, in some ways i think she does stuff because she knows i care but something has to fukking give breh.

when that shyt begin.....its time to leave. just been on my mind for a minute

I was 18 and it was an ex (the guy i lost my virginity to ) and he was having a bad day and i guess.. idk. we were laying in bed and I was texting on my phone and the noise from the buttons were annoying him. He was being an @sshole about it and when I didnt stop texting he slapped me so I slapped him back
And then we started fighting. he didnt legit hit me like a nygga but he was choking me out and saying a bunch of hurtful things like "you better be glad your not dead on my floor right now..." . I was fighting dude with all of my might and he was throwing me around and pushing me and slamming me down.
I will never forget it.

its ok. what sucks is that before the incident i was this sweet, naive, caring 18 yr old who would do anything for her boyfriend and trusted him with everything. Being physically assaulted by someone who claims they care about you kills a piece of you and changes how you operate in interpersonal relationships. From then on, I refused to be in that position again so I became a bytch so dudes wouldnt try me .

I'm 26 now and a lot has changed, but any kind of abuse changes people.

And the funny thing is, he was still trying to contact me a good 2 yrs after we broke up (I was done after he put his hands on me) trying to get me to take him back.

I wish him all the best tho.

yeah i do.....my neighbor/neighborhood female friend. Constant Infidelity on her and her old man part. Reason i know this is because they actually be outside going at it, couple of time i had to intervene. (enough for me to get a charge for beating the muthafukking bricks off this nikka) she leaves him for about a week, goes right back to fukking with the old dumbass, cant keep a job fake 2 chainz looking ass nikka, it doesnt make any sense to me, why go or rather be in a relationship where a man is constantly placing hands and sometimes feet on. Had to explain to her what love is..........and in one ear out the fukking other.

Matter of things playing a factor in that situation:

lack of trust, lack of respect (if a man respected shorty her wouldnt be hitting her), overall low self-esteem which contribute to her going back.

But that's unfortunately too common when you're from the projects or a poor background and you've never seen a healthy relationship. She's probably scared shytless that's why she keeps going back and he's broken her so much she's left with no choice.

Yes, I knew someone in an abusive relationship. They are both dead, now. I killed him then she killed herself.

She probably won't unless her family step in and she separates herself from him completely, which I doubt she will. Abusers are very intelligent, cunning, and sociopathic people. He wants her to feel helpless so even when she musters up the courage to leave, she'll go back, because he's convinced her that without him she's nothing.
