One of the worst feelings in the world, no?

I had a zoom interview today for this clinic manager position with this health organization. Interview was a panel interview with 5 fukking people. Interview was going great...until the last question, which was like a fundamental one. It wasnt one question, but like 3 questions in one. I started out to answer, somehow got lost and then FROZE. One of the worst freezes ever. Like literally just looked down at my lap like :to:. 2 minutes passed and they asked if I wanted to move onto the next question, and I was like "yes please :francis:." It was weird because I practiced like fukk for that interview and even did mock interviews. I dont know why I froze at all.

Never been so embarrassed in my life. Sucks because interview was going good UNTIL then.

I sent a thank you letter, apologized about not being able to answer that question and then gave the answer. Afterwards thanked them again. All I could do to save face :snoop:

no, but i've answered some questions that caught me off guard horribly.

:francis:

to be honest having actually been in on conducting a few interviews "freezing" isn't a bad thing completely. if someone takes a minute or two to think up how to respond, it might feel like an eternity, but i've seen people get hired after that if they come up with a good response.

you should have asked for them to restate the question or something, if they refused, oh well. i know a lot of times anxiety will fukk you up on the fly though and you don't realize it til later. either way the people interviewing you generally realize that interviews some the most anxiety inducing things in life for people and will usually understand and if they asked you three questions at once, they'd know.

either way, you'll get em next time, these things are always a learning experience.

Appreciate that, my man. I dont have an answer as to why I froze. I never got to answer the question because it was the last question. I prepped for 5 fukking days nonstop for that interview too. First management interview as well, so I think the pressure just made me cave.

Never, but there was one time where I was on a second round interview with the guy who would've been my direct manager and I just got a weird vibe from him, can't put my finger on it... but I just got up, said it's not gonna work out, no sense in wasting each other's time and walked out.

The one thing I've learned is you never wanna work anywhere you can't stand your co-workers

that's bold as shyt! Seems like you're a breh that knows what he wants
Haven’t froze, but got stuck a few times and Juelzed a non-sensical answer. shyt was big league bag.:snoop: But I just laugh at it now. As you too will laugh at your freeze someday. Don’t sweat it breh. Keep your head up. If you don’t end up with the position, another one will come your way.
I really appreciate the positivity man...I really do. That really does make me feel better, actually. I got off the zoom interview and no lie felt devastated.

In my younger days when I first started working different jobs, hell yeah. That shyt is embarrassing. Sometimes it still takes me a minute to respond to certain questions, but I like to think I’m pretty good at getting my

After I said what I said walked out awkwardly knowing I gave myself the L

No but after I graduated from college...there was an interview where I seemed to lack confidence cuz older cacs were interviewing me.

I've gotten better since each year.

Always look ur interviewer in their face, and don't say any "umms."
