im 32. I said in the other thread besides his Geto Boys shyt and Smile, ive never heard anyone play a Scarface song.

In Atlanta I mostly heard TI, Pastor Troy, Gucci, Jeezy, Dro, OJ, Bone Thugs, 3-6, Project Pat,Kilo Ali, Raheem the Dream, Lil Jon, Luda, Trick Daddy, and other local Atlanta music..Atlanta radio stations back then played mostly local Atlanta shyt cause we had a lot of talent down here

But just to answer, yes, the most played Face songs I’ve heard were Mary Jane, On My Block, Guess Who’s Back, fukk Faces, Homies & Thugs, Mind Playin Tricks, and Smile.

Him being held in high regards is nothing new though and is definitely not limited to The Coli. He gets his props all over and lot of people legitimately do see him as a Top 5/10 emcee. From his peers (Biggie, Pac, Jay, Nas, DMX, Kool G. Rap, Ice Cube, Bun B, Pimp C, T.I., etc.) to fans.

I think that’s cause he came up with a lot of other guys that people considered all time faves and legends. Scarface was right there with Cube, Pac, NWA, Master P, Too Short, Kool G Rap, Jay, Nas, etc. He’s often described as your favorite rappers favorite rapper. Geto Boys is a legendary group, and the first of it’s kind. He’s in a lot of guys DNA, specifically storytellers.

he was gettin hella burn around my way when The Untouchable came out. My brother copped that shyt off the strength of the 2pac feature. Smile was a big hit. Before that Mind Playin Tricks on Me was on the radio every now and then...the video was legendary. Had the My Homies double album. That shyt was thumpin. I remember I got a ride to the bus station after school from one of my friends OGs and he was bumpin The Fix. The song with WC. I went and bought that shyt as soon as I could. Especially after it got 5 mics. True story. That cd came in a ziplock bag. Then that Office Space movie had white boys bumpin "No Tears". Scarface is the best rapper alive.
