I think there’s a lot of non-believers that just lie about it. It’s not a battle worth fighting. I can’t say for sure that Im 100% atheist, but the more I observe human nature and learn more about history, the more skeptical I become. We want there to be a God, we hope there is a God, but when you want something that bad, it’s usually not happening.

Yeah they're not rare or anything especially in college. Anyways most are cool, they don't have a hate boner for religion or anything like some other folks do

Good question. I used to be super religious, but it just never vibed with my innate rationality. I used to be scared to even question my beliefs. Eventually I went down the rabbit hole of researching where Christianity came from, how my people came to accept Christianity, how Christianity basically comes from older religions, ancient african spirituality, etc. and came to the conclusion that the evidence presented for the belief of God as defined by Christianity and other mainstream religions left much to be desired.

Here's the thing tho, I never said anything about Christianity. If you don't believe in Christianity thats one thing, but to completely deny the very idea of a higher power/God is another altogether. If you can put religion to the side for a min, can you honestly tell me you've never felt or experienced anything that you couldn't explain and could possibly attribute to there being a God? Not ever?

The fact that science can offer a coherent, though not complete and self-skeptical explanation of natural events, whereas religious folks just say "God did it " and then when you ask for their evidence, they point to the bible, or even personal supernatural events that cannot be confirmed whatsoever.


The idea that earth was created in 6 days by some guy in the sky is absolutely debunked. All that religious folks have left is semantic arguments of "Well what science is trying to explain is really god " meanwhile being scientifically illiterate and incapable of explaining even basic modern scientific concepts.

Just because you've had "spiritual experiences" doesn't mean there's a god.
