Have you ever walked off on a job?

I've walked out or stopped showing up to pretty much every job.

I have clearances and make good money too...never mattered.

It'll catch up to me one day.

somebody was half assing your background check...I vaguely remember a scandal where a bunch of people got fired behind that might catch up but I doubt it

Yep. shyt was so empowering because they were so wrong at this job for their bs. Had another job lined up though. Don't put yourself out there without another job unless you are living rent free with your folks or something.

I'm exaggerating. But I might be in trouble when I have to reup my clearance.

When i got out the marines i was in school and needed some extra bread went to a temp agency and they sent me to a Fence!!!! making co. I did that mess for about 2 hrs and first break came and I was like fuk this and bounced.....was like this is why I m in school ....shyt I aint Mexican

I put my vacation in for a week, packed my shyt from my desk that night before I went and never went back. This was when I worked for Bank of America at their call center 10 years ago.

Job I felt like walking out every day was best buy. fukk that place.

I've only did the leave of absence and when I came back I resigned.

Might do the same if this current job wasn't gonna promote me, and then putting a franchise out in LA has me at the possibility of a job transfer.

Either way, by this time next year hopefully I ain't working for this company. Having a high tolerance for inconsistency and backwards practices has it's pros and cons I guess.

Yeah I've done it a few times. I was a package handler at FedEx for about 2 days then I just left an hour into the shift.

The worst was when I was 19 makin pizzas early in the mornin by myself for a restaurant and I straight up dipped and left the keys to the store on the table, got tired of my manager doggin me cause the pizzas I made came out football shaped.

Also got fired from a gym for fighting a customer a week into my job and I knew I'd be fired so I just walked out after it happened.

Yeah I've made some dumb mistakes in my life, I know

My mom had me get a job my senior year to pay for prom so I worked at McDonald's for two months. I never liked that shyt. One night i got yelled at by the head manager over a fukking cheeseburger. The next day I showed up 3 hours late for my shift with my uniforms in hand. The look on my managers face was one of the best feelings in the world. There are some things I refuse to go through for money.

Oh man I got fired once and laughed my ass off all during the firing.

I worked at a discount store and the manager was some 45-50 yr old black dude. He hated on me cause I fukked the manager he had a crush on. This chick loved me and got me the job. I used to come in late, high, go hide in the stockroom. So one day he wanted me to do some shyt that I said no too. Dude turned into Samuel L Jackson and started yelling and preaching how my ass was fired for insubordination and tardiness. The more I smiled and laughed the more he got mad and started writing shyt down on how he was making a report to send to corporate and I will never be hired in another store they own again!!

Dude was middle aged managing a discount store and got no bytches. I understood the hate and justout the door.

I worked at the restaurant section of the Bear Mountain Inn a few years ago. One of my coworkers at the time hooked me up with the job, she said I'd be making $15 as a hostess (since I wouldn't be getting tips). So I get there and the manager tells me I'll be making $9. I decided to work there anyway because it would be extra money in my pocket. Plus we got free food.
The first day everything was cool.
The second day I came in it was good at first, then around lunch time it got busy. Eveyone wanted to sit at the outside dinning area, but there was only about 7 tables there. So once it got full, I had to tell people they could either wait until a table freed up, or sit on the inside. Everybody opted to sit outside. So I wrote their names down. Then people started getting antsy. I literally had this one lady tell me to tell the people eating that they needed to hurry up.
The bus boys were moving slow to clean the tables, so I had to help. One guy came back when a table was cleared. He was 5 minutes ahead of the woman that was staring me down. I sat him & his party. Then the lady started yelling at me.
I told the mgr that I was quitting. I wasn't getting yelled at, at my current job, so there was no way in hell I was getting yelled at in this place where I was only making $9/hr.
The mgr must have thought I was joking when I said I was quitting.
I got my free food and dipped.
They started calling me two hours later. I never answered and never went back.

After about 30 mins of listening to this cat, I turn around and take off my apron and put it over his neck. I told him, "you make the fukkin sandwiches." I untuck my shirt, grab two mcchickens and walk out that bytch never to return
