I currently work the graveyard shift at mcdonalds(11pm - 7am) it has it's pros and cons

I like the fact the place is empty most of the time, so the only thing i have to do is setup the place up for the breakfast shift. But like someone already said, when im off, it feels like a extended break and i feel like it's no point going home. i should have a bed setup there, cause when i wake up, it'll be time to go to work again.

Well, I do it now as a nurse and it's a killer. I don't touch any documentation past 2 AM at all. You should see the things nurses write when they chart late. It's same as day shift tho since it's the ER

if its a job where you sit around like security or something, i suppose it wouldn't be that bad

but i had one at a noisy ass Boeing factory. kind of a brutal job (12 hour shifts) carrying heavy shyt and mixing chemicals, and working graveyard made it so much worse. after a while i could feel my health deteriorating
