No rivalries

Long, Meaningless Season that players don't even care about

Lack of Post game

Every game is a 3 point shooting contest

Tanking

Superteams

Players allowed to travel which makes playing Defense damn near impossible

Flopping

Lack of Parity

82 game season only for more than half the league to make the playoffs only for the top 2 teams in the conference to make it to the conference chips damn near every year.( Talk about pointless)
I think many people who voted no meant to say 'I haven't fully lost interest but it no longer is what it was' and that those who votes yes meant to say 'I am still amped for the playoffs, but regular season means nothing and everything until the EC Finals means nothing'

I was just talking about this today: I will cancel my League Pass until the playoffs.

We already know who'll win the WC Finals. So unless something crazy happens in the East, the first actually interesting series will be the Eastern Conf Finals which will be the Celtics vs Cavs. IF the Celtics win: we had 1 huge surprise the whole season.

The Warriors aka the nikkaz who were 73-9 and then added the best offensive player in the world are a lock for the title, barring serious injuries to several of their All-Stars.

As a Laker, I'm amped to see this new team BALL.

I think the true MVP of this season will be LeBron ultimately saying he takes his talents to Hollywood after this season..

The NBA is about the rivalries between the star players, not the teams once you realise that you can enjoy it much better. It's never been really competitive outside of the decade of the 70's. It's simply in the nature of the sport that the teams with the superstars will dominate so it makes more sense to pay attention to superstar rivalries and youth player development.

i went to a baseball game on monday and all i could think of wow this is so boring cant wait for the nba to be back.
:stopitslime: I was in Toronto 3 weeks ago right by the park and aquarium. Even being near a building a different team plays in is exciting when a game is about to start. Act like baseball is dying :childplease:

So what's your definition?

Buffalo bills haven't made the playoffs in 17 years
Browns 14 years
Rams 12 years
Jaguars and Buccaneers 9 yearsTitans 8 years

NBA every team has made the playoffs in the past 5 years except Phoenix, Sacramento and Minnesota

Who has ever defined parity as winning chips?

It looks worse if you dig deeper. Pokémon yellow was the hot video game when buffalo last made it. Cleveland has gone just once from 1995-today. The Rams have gone just 4 times in the last 27 years. The jaguars may not go any time soon, the jets haven't gone since 2010 and won't be going any time soon. The dolphins have gone twice in the last 16 years. The niners have gone 3 times in the last 14 years and won't be back any time soon. The lions have won just 1 playoff game since the ford family bought the team in 1957. The bears haven't gone I think since 2010 either. Kansas City recently went I think 22 years between playoff wins. Oakland just made it back to the playoffs after not making it for 13 straight years. Cincinnati hasn't won a playoff game since the 80's either. I've said it for a long time. The NFL only has the illusion of parity.

More than half the teams make the playoffs in the NBA and there's still 2 squads with at least 11 years out and counting.

The Knicks suck,
and I feel the NBA season is too predictable. Its basically Lebron's team vs whatever superteam is in the west every season.

I don't see any point to watch regular season

It's easier to make the playoffs in the NBA. They let everyone in

This is stated in the OP
