I watch it because I love the game of basketball. This will be the first season I'll actually watch up and coming teams (MIL, PHI, MIN, LAL, PHO, etc.) much more than marquee teams, outside the spurs since I live in San Antonio.
It sucks knowing that the next few years it's a damn near lock that (whatever team LBJ is on) vs Golden State will be the Finals matchup

I am still interested in NBA but lost some interest.
Lack of parity is an issue...playoffs and Finals just wasn't as good this year. Wish it could've went to 6-7 games. Warriors are so much above everyone else since they acquired KD whereas it isn't worth watching unless u a real Warriors fan, a bandwagoner or a super Bron hater.
There were some great series during last year's finals like the Wiz vs Celts and maybe Jazz vs Clips but we all know those teams are NO match for the Warriors and wont even make it to Finals.
Some of this is due to Kobe leaving the league and the Lakers not having a good enough team for him during the later part of his career.
KD wanted to take paycuts to keep Iggy and Livingston but it would've been interesting to see a few new players on the Warriors. The moves that some teams made may make some things more interesting this year...but no teams gonna beat Warriors. At least with the Heat "superteam"....they had major competition with that Spurs team where they needed a clutch 3 from Ray Allen to go into OT. Warriors don't have near that level of competition.

I know the way for some of you guys to feel better
if you a top five player your team not allowed to have a all-star playing with you and if your FO happen to draft a good player he will get shipped to a team thats bad ....

Lonzo alone makes this season must watch then add in all the young talent, stars and it's hard not to be excited for this NBA season

Playoffs were bad last year, but the NBA followed it up with their best off-season in history. Interest will be sky high
