the one thing that just trips me out is....if only these cats knew how cultured I grew up:
at my shop we get all sorts of things and we bought out this one rich guy who was moving out of state. each of his rooms had a theme. greek, italian, african etc.. big ass house. his office had the african stuff.
at the shop we didn't exactly know how to price the items so we just overpriced the african stuff cause i didn't want to sell the items anyway. what's amazing is that it's only white ppl who bough the african stuff. black ppl don't even waste time looking at that stuff. even when my bytch is the face of the store. i rather work the website and post on coli
anyway. the euro stuff it's mostly white and black ppl that buy it.
only one time this one afrocentric girl came to the store and we talked about it. i told her the way it trips me that black ppl will pay hundreds of dollars for something "victorian" instead of something african. but i really stopped caring. i just want the money i could give a sh1t who is buying sh1t..
