I'm 22 & Got in a serious relationship with a single mother w/ a 3 year old about a year ago (not about to get into that discussion:whoa:) and I feel like I've already aged at least twice as fast within that time period :mjcry:

I work more than I ever used to, don't go out nearly as much as I used to... Hell, I barely even be posting on Instagram anymore:flabbynsick:

Put all my dreams on hold & multiplied my expenses :patrice:

At least she's loyal to the soil & cooks for me every night :ehh:. Truth be told I was probably way in over my head taking all this shyt on but as a man I can't back down from something I knew would be challenging & still decided to take on. I keep my word:ufdup:

But yeah, I sure as hell ain't getting her pregnant. Fatherhood ain't no fukkin joke:whew:. Props to anyone who can make it out without being left :flabbynsick: afterwards
Man I was with my shorty for like 4 years and she had a 5 year old daughter.. when I say I'm so happy I found out she cheated on me..

Yo her daughter was so annoying ain't no way in hell I could see myself living in the same crib, I would've went crazy..

It be crazy cause you love the mom and she use to cook her ass off and all that but fukk that man I couldn't do it.. Her cheating was my way out it was a blessing in disguise:blessed:..

I can't take care of another man's kids especially if he still alive. I want to have a baby with a girl that never had one so it be our first experience together..

It sound like she holding you back a lil bit breh, why not have a kid of your own with her if you taking care of the next man's seed? Good luck my dude.

Her daughter is cool & ive always been good with kids so that's not really an issue. I got my dog & We all mesh pretty well as a unit, and she definitely has helped me grow as a person, but man I can't front, my finances have gone to shyt since being with her :mjcry:

No way in hell I'd have my own kid right now. I guess I'm more willing than most to do the step dad thing simply because my parents split up when I was 3 and even tho my dad was still somewhat in my life, I know what it's like to be a kid and want that father figure around. I try to be the father figure I wish I had in a sense. One can argue that I have really high morals to a fault, but like I said, I thought I knew what I was in for when I got in the relationship & she warned me, but I insisted at the time so like I said I can't really back out now.

I'd never worry about cheating with my girl or anything like that but at the same time she got the occasional anger issues & attitude swings that can drive me up a fukking wall :drosehh:. If we ever broke up I already know it'd be cause she'd go off the hook & say/do some shyt that'll just make me say fukk it & drop her ass off at a relative's. She already broke her own phone n shyt over stupid ass arguments that blew up into something bigger :skip:

I'd be lying if I said I don't sit and ponder where I could be without all this extra baggage & expenses to deal with. I really do love & care for her but I'm well aware that most 22 year olds don't & probably shouldn't have to deal with this amount of pressure & financial stress. It's definitely a challenging situation at times but I just say fukk it & try to man up & overcome. Best case scenario, we weather the storm and I know we have a very strong relationship foundation for whatever the future holds for us. Worst case scenario we break up, my expenses get cut in half, & I have a ton of experienced gained for the next chick. I'm still young & have plenty of time :yeshrug:As long as I don't get her pregnant my future's flexible

25 and I has a one year old son. But I'm not having anymore, ever and going back to school to build a good life for me and him. You can still have fun you just have to take care of responsibilities first.

Man I'm 28 and I see dudes my age or younger with multiple children or taking care of the the children of the chick they are currently with..I'm like :whoa:. My lady and I don't plan on having children until our 30s because we're still living life and trying to plan out our future so when the child does come, we will be able to provide it with a good life.

Like someone said earlier though, the determined will hopefully be able to push through kid or not. And also I can't knock a lot of the young parents because I see some that look to be doing a good job, but of course there are some absolutely horrible ones who shouldn't be having children at any age.

To the original poster some parts do suck but the experience as a whole is more fulfilling than anything ive done when i didnt have kids

There are advantages to having kids young, and you dont have to put any of your dreams on hold. fukking lol to who told you that.

I'm 34. I have 4 kids. My oldest is turning 16 in sept. My youngest is 7.

I don't regret any of it. Did it have its struggles ? Hell yeah. It's supposed to...thats how we learn to live and overcome. Some people make it seem like having kids is terrible, but eventually your love and time for your kids overcomes going out and chilling the homies.

If anything, being a dad at a young age (even while being a college athlete) was a good thing for me. Made me never quit or give up when it came to making money. If anything, it continuously makes me more ambitious to never settle and ALWAYS try to make more dough. The advantage of being an 80's baby, is that I went through the poor pro-wings struggles and hood beefs, and I vow to make my kids lives better then mine. IMO the way you raise your kids is the best way to define your life when it's all said and done.

Depends on the person. I don't think you should have any children when there is a "teen" in your age, but definitely before 30 is a good age.
