I get 3 weeks from the jump each year and the ability to buy an extra week, but with WFH as long as i have my work laptop i do not need to take time off, especially if the destination its a similar timezone.

But it does make sense.......to me:mjgrin: I'm tryna be in a different country at least every few months, 2 weeks minimum :wow:

That's why I need my own business. I won't get paid but once established I could do what it do, maybe even bring work with me overseas:ehh:

:laff: most basic jobs give u a week AFTER you've worked a full year. Then you have to work multiple years to get more than one week a year lol. It's ridiculous

:picard:
You get 26 days as standard over here
Even when I was a student working part time I got holiday as standard :gucci:
I get extra holiday for years served in my current job above the 26.
I also get stuff like up to a week off if I volunteer in the community or a charity.

Most Americans are really clueless but that's how most of the world is.

This is facts.

This is why wfh is so goated and why they are pushing to end it.

You can work and travel at the same time and save your real paid vacation:banderas:

Starting a business is definitely the move though. Even though youll work harder you can choose where u want to work

The only profession in America that has good vacation time is teaching. When i was a teacher we got off spring break, christmas break, summer break, winter break in addition to our vacation. When you add up, we had like 4 months off.
Add in the fact that teachers make an average of like $70k and get pensions, it is a GOAT job.

It would have been my 2nd career choice, but Engineering had a higher ceiling.

The good thing about having a CDL. Work for as long as you want and take off months if you want to (which I have done).

Jobs are everywhere (literally), and somebody is going to hire you.

You must have your own truck and basically a contractor.:ehh:

I'd say College professors really got it made. More respected, higher pay ceiling, no bad ass kids, and automated grading system. It took me some time to realize it, but these College professors use the same notes and PowerPoints year after year then have to take the test online. All they gotta do is transfer shyt to the grade book:russ:
