I can travel anytime I want without taking vacation days.
I can go to Europe with my laptop as long as I work eastern time zone hours

I tested this with taking a month on the road to see if I could be away from home with my wife and 2 kids for an extended period of time. Didn’t miss a beat from work, even did a couple days in Mexico to see if the vpn would shut me down but everything worked. Looking at doing a couple months abroad pretty soon.

Join the military... 30 days paid leave a year and you get 4-day weekends, usually Friday through Monday, for all federal holidays. And if you need to take a 4 day, just put in a pass... I wouldn't do that more than twice a year though. shyt is really the goat. Of course you have to deal with crazy shyt, but that is everywhere else you go.

Better idea. Make housing for teachers subsidized. Where they can never pay more than 30% of their income on rent
