Having to build vacation time is so trash

I hate it.

As if only getting 15 days vacation a yr ain't bad enough, they JUST released our personal time(we call it blue card). That's when you can call in at least 30 mins before your shift and say you are not coming in. We only get 50hrs of that which is 6 days and 2 hrs

I heard in the UK they got unlimited or something like that.

I'm at

• 25 - vacay-days
• 35 - full paid sick days
• 50 - 2/3 paid sick days
• 4 - special days

Idk what the 2/3 paid sick days and special days are for lol.

Every job I have had, you accrue PTO from day 1.

One job you accrued 285 hrs of PTO per year and you could use it whenever, and it carried over.

Another job you accrued 208hrs of PTO per year plus another 104 hrs of paid sick leave, Plus 10 paid holidays.

I think Corporate America sucks as far as PTO policies, but it's not like that in all sectors in the US.
