based on what it looked like, he was playing songs on youtube and recording the audio into whatever he was using based on if he liked it or not. he has a grimey production style so i dont know if quality matters for everything he does. sometimes the dip in quality can work out to his advantage.

Thats the sound I prefer too. That low quality sample in Hip Hop to me is comparable to the rich sound provided by vinyl that digital cant duplicate. Not even FLAC files. There's something rich and untainted by that little bit of static in the background in an East Coast beat.

I'm 5 minutes in the video. What the hell is he doing? :lolbron:
Is he isolating drum sounds from that one sample? :ohhh:
yeah he has is audio routed right into whatever he's using on the computer so when he plays a sound he can just record it live instead of downloading a youtube link off some random site...then he is snatching whatever he wants from the joints. producing is really a mind blowing process....the little ive learned in the last month or so has really changed the way i look at music.

The one he opened the video with. Is that gonna be on this project? First I'm hearing of it.
I've never heard it either.
It shouldn't be on the Silent Partner, that's supposed to be all ALC beats.

So I'm ten minutes in now :lolbron:
Slowly but surely I'm gonna get through this :lolbron:

It seems like he's controlling what he's sampling with a keyboard? :ohhh:

Any producer brehs shed any light on that?
@Pinyapplesuckas @TEKBEATZ
Or give thoughts/insight on what he's doing, his process besides the sampling from YouTube?
