. . . 6.5/10 . . . . the city looks like an AI combo of NYC... Chicago . .. Detroit . and SF. . . .. the accents of the characters are all over the place . .. guns have unlimited ammo . . . . takes 30 minutes to get the story moving . . .. . Timo took the crown for this genre . . .. . Gareth needs to fall-back and work with Thomas Jane on his Neeson retirement run . .. . . .
you right, replace SF, with LA. the part where forest whitaker car got shot up was AI LA and NYC :mjlol:

I fukks with this movie. proper throwback action jawn. unlimited ammo and all. :blessed: crooked cops, innocents getting bodied, the GI JOE bad guy aim.

the lil mexican jawn just randomly having amazing aim and knife skills :mjlol:, the OD bullets into bodies, gruesome deaths

I have no idea what I just watched. The cgi is weird and just all over the place visually. Just a very strangely shot flick. Is this all AI?

But the action is insane. One of the most overtop and ridiculous action fests of a flick I've ever seen.

If you like action this won't disappoint.

Enjoyable action film, but the overuse of CGI was distracting and when the cars were CGI they literally moved like they had no weight took me out of those action sequences.

Also filled with a couple of tired action movie cliches. I want to see an action film with gritty violence where the main protagonist actually has a happy and well balanced home life :russ: just for a change of pace

This was my only gripe with the movie, reminded me a bit of the beginning of Guy Pearce's Lockout, a decent action sci-fi but it had a ridiculously cheap ass chase scene that almost threw me off from watching. I really like practical car chase scenes so CGI (especially the cheap kind) chases bother me.
