There's a lot of threads about the Shook Ones Part II sample since it was found, but I never knew he sampled the fukking stove top and used it as the hi hat.

Right at the beginning of the video you can hear it, and in the 2nd video is Questlove going crazy at 4:46 the first time he heard the sample discovered:

Supremely obvious, but I've been known to not put 2 and 2 together on many occasions so it was a revelation to me

Obvious in hindsight. But based on the reactions here, I'd say it's not super well known. I'm a huge sample nerd and didn't know it.
