Other than that play off run in 2015 my Hawks just haven’t been able to get right
If LP could actually coach a lot of other issues would have been overlooked but bruh simply is not head coach material. The Hawks had ZERO plays, ZERO. They kept losing games simply because if Trae drive didn't work then they couldn't do anything late in games, hence all the blown 4th quarter leads.
The Hawks needed structure and LP provided none. How can you be mad at Trae for his drive and draw foul offensive game if you haven't taught the team any plays to run and just let Trae do whatever he wants every possession?

I don’t think LP is that bad I seem a lot from him these past 3 years prior to this year that showed a lot of potential. I think we had a lot of egos get their own way with this team and it took a life of its own, McMillan seems better at keeping the egos in check and having the team play cohesively
Its more than just that, the Hawks dont even play like the same team. They were top 15 in pace under LP, with Nate they dropped to like 25th. You can see the offensive possessions are more deliberate and people are having plays run for them. How can the head coach run one offense (and i say that for the lack of a better word because in reality the Hawks didnt run any type of offense) and then when the assistant coach takes over they completely flip their play style? That lets me know not only were the players not aligned with LP but his own coaching staff didnt rock with what he had going on.
Plus bog and gallo are finally healthy, and gallo is playing great

This is the biggest night and day change from coaching I’ve ever seen. I’m prolly outta pocket saying this but I swear I would actually fight LP. nikka was a terrible fukking coach and went out like a bytch blaming the players...
