Now I'm standing by my Ish statement,Teague is better but not by the margin some think he is,obviously Teague is better I mean they went to the same school and Teague was the best player on the team,though some felt James Johnson was better,but regardless Teague was better than Ish on that Wake Forest team,but that's the Teague people thought we'd see in the league,but there's a reason Teague went from top 5 pick in the draft to falling out of the lottery,there's a reason we see the talent to be a top tier PG but have to rate him in the middle or bottom of the pack,there's a reason people feel Schroeder should start,there's a reason why people feel Ish isn't too far behind his once head and shoulders better college teammate, its Teagues fault,I'm not a stat guy,I go by what I see,and Ish did his damn thing this year,Teague as always was up and down,he's not a 19-20 year old rookie anymore he's about to be 28 years old,approaching 30 he's in his prime now,still doing the same shyt. When do the excuses end? When do people realize Teague is who he is and will be what he be,a very talented ultra athletic scoring PG that just could never put it together.

You can't fault teague for being too unselfish. We want him to be the scorer because we have no scorers. The man gets the job done on both ends, he just doesn't put up high scoring totals. Put him on a team with more scorers and more minutes and he will flourish. Like you said, he has top 5 talent...he just don't want to be a pure scorer

Not sure if this was directed at me but if it was let me be clear in what I want. I want a championship team. I want a true difference maker at the PG position. Jeff is a good, solid player. That's been evident for a few years. But he's not a difference maker for a championship team. There's a real chance he doesn't get traded and this whole thread is moot. But more than anything I want a team with a championship mentality, that does not exist on this team. You're content with 45 wins, I'm not. Hawks have the longest consecutive playoff streak in the East, what do they have to show for it?

I'm fully aware that the Hawks will probably stay the course and try to piece together a team that they feel can be a "fringe contender". I'm also aware that this current core has done all it can and that expecting this to turn into a champion with this current approach is foolish, but the Hawks have no plans to do something radical to shake it up so you and @Sly Cookin & @Qohelet will probably get your wish for this team to stay as it is

Nah I'm not faulting him for not being selfish at all,I'm getting on him about his consistency, he did exactly what he's doing now in college,I think at one point at Wake he was averaging 24 points and 7 assist on like 66% from the field and 60% from 3 then he just fell off,and that's why he went from a top 5 pick to outside of lottery,he's just way too inconsistent bruh, and he does the same shyt now, he'll have nights were he looks like a top PG then he'll have nights where you like what the fukk? Its not about him putting up a bunch of numbers,he just got too much talent to be mediocre for long stretches like he does,that's why I got him rated as a top 12-15 PG.

Very good and to sit hear and say they have no desire to be great is nonsense. Some players are not gonna be great the same we would like is because they want to be great teammates. You want Jeff to play like Lillard and Paul because when he plays them, he plays better than them, then we see him v. Rubio or MCW and we are like, my nikka, show us the same shyt that you did v. CP3 and Lillard where you were the best on the court but that's not Jeff. I called this out years ago. He's a streaky offensive scorer.

Where I like Jeff is he finally became a constant PG. Where he always runs the offense, gets us the best shots, makes great basketball reads, isn't out of position like Dennis constantly is and doesn't turn the ball over.
