He's gone breh and I don't understand it.. only 1 team wins a ring and we're not there yet but nobody has brought us closer to one or trending to that direction than our current players and Jeff teague..so while other posters can clown, I along with other general managers see him value.AVXL don't betray the set
I'm not gonna forget Jeff was a mid round pick and went from raw bench player to a top 10 point guard. All this talk about I want elite talent yeah so does 29 other teams but championship level players DO NOT grow on trees. BTW, Teague's NOT a very good player, he's a good player with 1 yr remaining on his deal and if Nerlens Noel is the best we can get for him, then we need to trade him. Teague is solidly a top 15 PG who has flashes where he looks like a top 10 PG, but all this overhyping and caping you're doing for him is unnecessary.

What are you talking about? As I just said I want this team to improve, you just saw for yourself that this "core" has hit its ceiling in its current construction. If we have a chance to get better by trading guys like Teague b/c they have value then you do it. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & over and expecting a different result. This team & Teague peaked in 2015. You want to continue to slide further back in the East with a net ceiling of the second round b/c of a top 15 PG?
at mentioning Teague & CP3 in the same breath, the only time they should be mentioned together is as Wake Forest alums, Teague isn't in the same galaxy as CP3But what's become obvious is that what Hawks fans want is different. You, @Sly Cookin @Qohelet want to stay the course, get 40-45 wins, win a playoff series and then get blasted in the second round with a core of good players. I'm all for blowing it up and rebuilding this team through sound drafting, strategic free agency acquisitions and a methodical & philosophical approach to coaching. I'm not content with this Hawks team and I don't care if I'm in the minority, we're not winning a championship with the way this team is built

No I'm not. I'm speaking for myself & I'm not consigning anybody. But if we're gonna keep it real Kemba was better than Teague this year. However overall I'd still take Teague over Kemba
Teague was just as good this year as last, especially when he got over the injury. Our issue was Korver and Bazemore. Not Jeff
At all.. Jeff is nice as fukk but he wants a PG that's gives you 20 and 10 and loses.

He wants a PG like Jeff to play to his talent level. He sees just as someone who just as nice as Lillard but he don't see that will or drive that Dame got on offense. That's not Jeff's goals. Jeff just wants to be a team player. That's all he wants. His mindset ain't to be dominant or an all star. He just wants to be a team player.
