But Bud doesn't want to blow it up...Al Horford for the Hawks now is the exact same scenario with Joe Johnson from 2010 when we paid him like a superstar and got criticized for it. The Hawks like Al a lot, Al likes Atlanta and were gonna give him the max (and most likely get criticized for it). I'm not happy if that's the decision we make but I understand that Bud values continuity and Al is a guy Bud sees as part of the solution. Bud is willing to get rid of Teague tho and a prospect like Noel could be intriguing, but the last young prospect the Hawks brought in from a losing team didn't play much last yr (ie. Hardaway Jr, Tim)
Hardaway Jr and Noel are not the same AVXL

Word is Ish isn't really wanted back in Philadelphia. Jeff is starting next year for us if he's here.

I don't see why. Ish clearly proved to be a helluva back up PG,and Jeff starting over Dennis this year would cause hella friction, Schroeder displayed a lot of frustration last year a few times when he'd get pulled for Teague.

He wasn't that good when I watched the replay games on Ko... He was about as good as Mack. Who's average. Dennis is very talented tho. Not too many PG'S his age with that type of talent and production

In his defense, Teague has never played next to players with the potential of JoJo, Jah, or ESPECIALLY Simmons..

Lol at you thinking Okafor is better. He got post moves but his iq is really lacking and his lateral quickness is terrible. Noel can play with either Millsap or horford. Gives u tons of flexibility to address scoring on the wings where we need the most help. shyt, you can go after Durant if you don't want to sign horford.

Noel is probably the best talent you can get for Teague at this time.

Okafor is an outstanding offensive talent and would give us our first true post presence since Mutumbo. I like Noel, but I don't see how making a trade for him gives us more flexibility to address scoring on the wings unless we let Bazemore walk

As for Horford...I'm indifferent on bringing him back, I'm a huge fan of him as a person, he's been a very good player for us, but I can't forget him shrinking away from the spotlight vs. CLE in the playoffs, he went ghost and we wanna give that guy a max deal? He's not worth that to me :manny:

But he's played with players much better than them. With that said, Jeff don't gotta worry about being the #1 option in Philly. They got like #3 choices that can do so.

Deke wasn't a post presence. He was worse in the paint than Al.

Defensively, he was great but our D now is great. As long as Al is here, it should remain great.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
@Malta

From me:

I stand by what I said. Edy got a lot of potential but is raw as fukk. No where did I say Edy was better than Gobert. But his talent is good.

:wtf:

Did you even read what you wrote, you basically said he was better than Gobert and he hadn't even played a single second yet. "Better IQ" based on what? :mjlol:

It's a new game, I didnt see any post play from the Warriors or the cavs.what they all had tho was great interior d.

As far as horf, I share your sentiments but at the end of the day he is a commodity. Say Noel takes a leap next year, there will always be teams willing to trade for horford.

I'm personally on board for keeping horford then moving Millsap. It's not that I want to get rid of Millsap but he is going to void that 3rd year after this season and try to get a joe johnson deal. I rather not be forced to make that commitment. Give me youth and picks instead

Mutumbo played in the post, Al is a 3 point specialist now. I'd much rather we get better offensively than getting one dimensional defensive players

Teague isn't some superstar pg, but he is a NBA starter and would be good for the young guys. Sixers need a solid pg badly, and he fits that. No free agent is signing with Sixers right now. Not sure about how much they should give up for Teague, I think a swap would be a fair deal.

Deke was in the post but he wasn't any good there. He was a great defensive big who could rebound well.

Al gotta play like he normally do. This season was soft for Al.

Ish problem is skills, mentality to play hero ball and he don't run an offense. Ish reminds me of Speedy Claxton. Jeff more like Kevin Johnson without the killer aggressiveness KJ had but Jeff plays better D.

I mean Philly offense was shytty,I read they told him just go out there and make plays, outside of Okafor it got really bad for anyone else trying to get a shot,I think he's better than Speedy.

Jeff I wouldnt put him on par with KJ, I'd put him in the mold of Brandon Jennings,Monta Ellis, just a bit better than them as jeff is more willing to pass than them, and is not nearly as aggressive as them, but all three of those guys are quick, athletic and small and can play the 1 and 2. Jeff has all the tools to be better than them, head and shoulders better, but he dissapears way too much.
