Now the Cavs are not likely to be impacted by this situation unless it is found out that these came from GM David Griffin. It is currently being reported that the person that wrote that is no longer an employee of the Cavs so that is unlikely.

I think what he said was misunderstood but I think this mistake cost him his job. I think what he said was not racist but it was stereotypical and in a professional environment around millionaires that was not the place. Maybe in the bar with other GMs but I'm that situation? I don't think the African part was the punch line to the point he was trying to make, but I guess he felt the need to throw it in there. Maybe African players have that reputation behind close doors. His point was Deng's a good guy infront the coaches and cameras but not a great locker room guy. He must've heard it from somewhere...
