This is exactly it.
Due to this, they have more oversight from the federal government, which is slowing down their financial aid process.
Their grad students haven’t gotten refunds yet and it’s the third week now.
Yvette predicted this on her show months ago :francis:

This is just about all HBCU’s though, it’s a running joke...one I attended was under investigation by the feds right as I got there

I’ve heard where entire financial aid staffs have been fired for stealing too
They only fired like 5 people, but they’re trying to implement an entirely new system, at the beginning of the semester. Bad idea.
My teacher told me my senior year that she was retiring. It was right after President Ribeau retired and when I pressed her on it she said it was because she didn’t like the new guy that was brought in as President and that there was some stuff going on she didn’t approve of :francis: She was there like 25 years so I know it was reason to make her leave. They also got rid of a long tenured professor in the communications office two weeks back so there’s probably something shady going on at my alma mater :francis:
Stuff like his happens at other universities all the time (in fact, Howard is one of 500-something universities on the federal watchlist) they’re at level two (which has about 50 or so) instead of level 1

I thought they kicked him out a month before he was supposed to graduate. From law school ironically.
Nah.
He was likely going to a V100 firm too.
Not sure if they took back the offer when the scandal started. He annouced a lawsuit as well.

It’ll be interesting to see if he passes the character and fitness for the bar

That's the thing, the school never officially charged him with anything, nor was any legal action taken against him.
He was a star Howard student prior to the scandal, as well as one of their top students.
He'll do fine.
He's like Aba a few years ago (last person from HUSL to go to WLRK.)

They’re not going broke.
They’re not even in an academic emergency situation.
They’re in an institutional emergency situation, due to their poor record keeping, gaps in paperwork, suspicious activity (including the scandal) coupled with their yearly budget being so heavily intertwined w/ federal money.
Their outside budget and endowment are still massive.

I was almost a student in their law school and literally can confirm everything I say, down to who currently works in each office.

Facts.
