What’s the cliff notes on dude? I kinda remembered the thread but don’t remember the details of what he/the schools was doing.
They didn’t drop admissions standards, they just didn’t raise them at the same pace as other schools.
You can’t have an HBCU w/ a 27 ACT requirement, there aren’t enough Black kids w/ test scores that high to go around
It’s not any different than it’s always been.
Howard in the 80s >> OSU standards wise, because OSU was open-enrollment.
If you have 50k kids willing to apply and attend your school even when you raise the ACT and GPA percentile to 90th of the national average, you’re golden.
No HBCU has that luck, unfortunately.
The closest are Howard, Morehouse and Spelman (XoLA as well).
They’re not, at least nothing that deep and sinister.
Their issue is that they’re hiding pure incompetence on an institutional level, and it’s embarrassing.

You can go to the popular IG pages of anyone at an HBCU and you’ll find just as many retarded quotes and asinine flex pictures, usually accompanied by a 2.7
GPA at an easy school in an easy major.
