all imma say to this post is "sure"

:mjlol: ya clearly dont know how far the rabbit hole goes at howard

The only thing that separates Howard from the rest of the HBCU's administrative fukkery is that they know that putting on a huge homecoming will make people forget about things until next year.

howard is on list that even comparable HBCUs are not on though (ie. FAMU, Morehouse, even fukking Alabama State).

let that sink in for a minute and keep think thats some "normal" hbcu shyt, esp during this pres administration

at this point, parents would a whole fool to allow their children to go there (cash flow) as they create bad experiences for students (alumni giving) while creating an easy target for themselves (fed funds). this isnt even touching on the non-financial aid scandal that happens at the school (greek life, sexual assaults, matriculation, fake degrees and falsified records, etc)

Not surprised. They dropped admission standards exponentially and made the school uncompetitive in terms of competing for black attention and not just any black attention. The black kids whose parents can actually afford for them to attend without significant financial aid. Most of the student body now needs financial aid and considering that the school doesn't generate much revenue from alumni, it makes sense that they are going broke. HU today is not the HU of yesterday. Same for most of the HBCUs. I know kids didn't even take the SAT attending HBCUs but these are supposed to be 'elite' black institutions?

Online universities are going to body a lot of colleges it's time for Howard to adapt and start putting their curriculum online for some supplemental income they may end up having to do that transition if they can't get bailed out by the alumni a random celebrity or the government.

Keep some facilities available for there science and Law schools and the university may have to take that l.

I think Tyrone is a faget and was probably fukking someone high up who in turn gave up the hush money off the back of the students

Dude got nothing but love on his IG too smh. That was some traitorous shyt to do to your school. HBCU’s are always hurting enough without finessing to buy a bunch of bullshyt.
These “new blacks” don’t know how to hold people accountable and applaud people taking the easiest way out because they would do the exact same thing.

The school isn't going broke it's a sensationalized title. It's a situation with their financial aid department where everything is being monitored more closely

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos’s staff informed the school in an Aug. 13 letter that it had been moved to what is called HCM2, or “heightened cash monitoring,” status regarding federal financial aid funds. That means the school will no longer get millions of dollars in financial aid in advance to award to students but, instead, will have to give it to students and then seek reimbursement from the federal government.
