they have an endowment of over half a billion dollars. honestly thought it'd be more, but thats still pretty good

whatever rumor is going on is probably a jig leading up to them selling real estate to developers or something. idk. im not from DC but even I know that shaw and bloomingdale area has blown up

I could run that school better than them nikkas. Everytime I had to go to the A building I had the :francis: face. I can’t be that hard to run a school if these bullshyt colleges out here with way less funding can have better functioning administrations. The people at HU just don’t give a fukk.
The Punch Out is run better than the A building...but that ain't saying much :heh:

It's sad that they have a whole business school at HU and still can't fix the problems with their administration. :francis:

For those of you from a HBCU, what is the culture of alumni donating/endowing back to their alma mater? It seems like from everything that I've been hearing it's almost discouraged. :mjcry:

To be fair, Howard business school is small as hell ( currently 65 students).

You're like 10 years late, Shaw BEEN re-developed/gentrified.

At this point, the students/local politicians/ alums should have been demanded a full audit of the schools finances. all them folks should've been stepped down

But in all honesty, people care too much about what white folks would say to ever hold the administration fully accountable.

Seems like too many old ppl tryna hold on and not pass the torch at these institutions.
This is definitely partially it, but they also hire a lot of incompetent new faculty that can't get the job done either.
Old incompetent people hiring new incompetent people, with a broken system already in place = the current state of most of these universities.
