Why does the GPA matter? For scholarships?

you can’t transfer to a school with a bad GPA.

contrary to what cacs say online, HBCUS do have standards like every other college. We may work with kids to get them in but it isn’t like HBCUS have a 100% acceptance rate.

And like @Armchair Militant said, Howard is private and expensive.

it’s one of the most prestigious HBCUS in the country. You can’t bullshyt at HU. folks who go there don’t play around when it comes to school because it’s expensive as hell & they have a legacy to uphold.

I wish you the best tho breh. It’s nothing like a HBCU community. Football games when it’s fans there from both schools & the bands blowing at each other is something I wish our brothers in the north and west can experience.

If you’re set on Howard, do what you have to do to meet the requirements and graduate from there.

Our schools in the SWAC are way cheaper than the MEAC schools on the east coast. Each HBCU offers something different. I can help you out if you want to know more about our schools.

Heather Vandergeld : [confused] What do you mean "broke"? Like, Martha Stewart "broke"? Or MC Hammer "broke"?
